Similar with two other spots of The Diamond Triangle of Banyuwan-gi, in Sukamade Beach, thick scent of well-preserved nature also ex-ist. In this area, turtles are the most preserved animal. Green turtles (Chelonia midas), the main species in the place, is well-protected and its breeding is facilitated here. One of the strategies to help the turtles to breed is by applying simple rule related with stopping distance for the vehicles to prevent lights of any kind that can discourage to turtles from going to the land to lay their eggs.
Other species of turtles can also be found here: penyu lekang (Lepi-dochelys olivacea), penyu belimbing (Dermochelys coriacea), and pe-nyu sisik (Eretmochelys imbricata). They usually land on the beach in January to September.
Not only turtles, Raflesia Arnoldi, black monkeys, and grey monkeys also inhabit the place.
Sukamade Beach is place full of challenges: an ideal place for the ad-venturers. An 18-kilometer of rocky path from Rajegwesi will provide a challenging adventure. The view of steep slopes and white sandy beach will be like an ultimate prize in the end of a dynamic journey for all adventurers.
